As I painted into ‘the heart of his presence’ (painting over an earlier artwork) I felt the peace and stillness of the secret place, the centre of his heart, come over me. Sometimes it is a wild journey, but there are other times that abiding in the quiet stillness flows easily.
The moon often represents the Word of God to me, because it reflects the light of the sun (Son). The moon may mean different things for you, however, when there’s consistency in how you hold a meaning, I find God honours that meaning for you.
I don’t often paint heart shapes but this one just came as a natural progression. The message is an invitation. The Lord invites us to live in His slipstream – His anointing – His service and purpose – a call to live in His empowering presence … and to love.
